Who We Are

Women In Defense (WID), A National Security Organization is an affiliate of the National Defense Industrial Association which was established as a non-profit organization in 1985.

WID’s mission is to cultivate and support the advancement and recognition of women in all aspects of national security and provide women with a formal environment for professional growth through networking, education, and career development.

Women In Defense Central Florida Chapter (WID CFL) is proud to be the fourteenth sanctioned chapter in the United States. Encompassing the entire state of Florida, it is among the fastest growing chapters of Women In Defense.

We are dedicated to providing a network for professional development opportunities here in Florida, sharing of members’ experiences and expanding their contacts in the community.
